Load Impedance |
The factory default assumes a 50 W load. Accordingly, the function generator supplies a voltage that would produce the desired waveform in a 50 W load. If your actual load differs from 50 W, the waveform at your load will differ from the desired waveform. Therefore, unless you have a 50 W load, you should set the function generator Output Termination to the high impedance option:

DC Voltage Source | Normally, the function generator prefers to supply a DC voltage and an AC voltage. To supply only a DC voltage, enter the DC voltage mode by pressing the Offset key and hold it down for more than 2 seconds. Note that you can supply DC voltages only in the range ±5 V. |
HPIB Address |
The factory default is 10. In case it has changed for some reason, you may return it to 10 thru the menu:

XY Plot |
To plot the voltage on trace 2 versus the voltage on trace 1 rather than as a function of time:

Vectors | For time trace measurements, the scope can display the sampled data points (vectors off) or it can connect the dots (vectors on). To toggle this option, press the Display button and use the appropriate softkey under the display. |

Current Compliance | The current compliance value specifies the maximum current supplied by the instrument. The default current compliance value of 105uA is often too low for our needs. To increase the compliance value, press the edit key twice to highlight the current compliance level. Increase the range by several orders of magnitude with the range up arrow key to set a more useful level. Enter the desired compliance value with the numerical keys or arrow keys. |
GPIB Address | The factory default is 24.
