WOULD YOU LIKE TO MAKE A POLYMER LIGHT-EMITTING DIODE?
EE 544/500 Solid State Electronics Laboratory
Spring Quarter 2001
This laboratory course introduces experimental procedures in solid state electronics used to fabricate, investigate and improve the characteristics of solid state electronic devices. Students will design, carry out, and document an experiment in a manner that is suitable for submission as a peer-reviewed journal article or as a patent application. Students who wish to use the Polymer Electronics Lab for their project should consult with the instructor. Concurrent: EE 524 or consent of instructor. Enroll via EE 500 during Spring, 2001.
Topics:
1. Course Overview, Laboratory Safety.
2. Device Fabrication Techniques.
3. Device Characterization Techniques.
