References in Your Course Work

The Duke University Library offers a nice summary of how to do references:

http://library.duke.edu/research/citing/ and http://www.lib.duke.edu/libguide/cite/works_cited.htm1

They offer 5 different styles: APA, Chicago, MLA, CSE, and Turabian. Turabian is not appropriate because it doesnít provide formats for references such as web sites. You may use any of the other four styles, but use whichever you choose for all your references. Donít mix-and-match styles.

You may use either footnotes or endnotes.
